Institute of Advance Study in Science and Technology (IASST) will organize a Symposium on “From Venom Pharmacology to Drug Discovery: National and International Perspective (SnakeSymp-2024) at IASST, Guwahati, India from 9-10^th February 2024. Venom research is growing exponentially, as evidenced by the increase in venom publications, biomedical applications, and biotech startup companies, leading to important socio-economic impacts on society. This symposium will focus on the key areas of venom research and evaluate challenges and opportunities for venom biomedical research and drug development. This symposium aims to provide an ideal platform for the participants to represent their research work, interact, debate, and disseminate ideas amongst distinguished professionals, eminent scientists, technologists, and industrialists. This event will be organized in both physical and online modes.
